New Addresses Needed! If you have received notice that your address has changed, please let the church office know by July 31st! The Good Samaritan Socks & Underwear Drive is here!! Please bring your donation of new socks and/or underwear for boys and girls, sizes 4-16 to the chapel foyer until August 13. These items will be given by the Good Samaritan ministry to local students in need for their new school year.

The Barnabas Basket During the first Sunday of every month, FBC collects food items for the Danville Food Bank. The collection basket will be in the Foyer today. The need for July is Jell-O and Pudding.

Special Offering for the Sandowiches Today! Micah & Katrina Sandowich, missionaries with Global Serve Intl., assist in training missionaries for the field. Twelve newly trained missionaries recently headed off to Asia! Special offering plates are located in the back of the sanctuary if you feel led to give toward their efforts.
VBS T-Shirts Available Today! If you are helping out at VBS this year, please pick up your t-shirt today in the lobby. There is a suggested donation of $8. Everyone helping out should have one. Security will be wearing polos.

Join many volunteers and families in preparing tons of humanitarian supplies from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The FBC bus will leave at 6:45am and return around 8:00pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided. The bus will be stopping for dinner. The sign up sheet is on the downstairs ramp bulletin board along with Adult & Child waivers. Note: Please sign up whether you are taking FBC transportation or driving down separately!

The Busy Bag Project What’s a Busy Bag? They are bags full of quiet things to occupy children during services when Children’s Church is not offered. They are located at the back of the sanctuary next to the ushers table. We are currently looking for someone to take over the Busy Bag Project in organizing their contents, ordering replacement supplies, etc. for more information, circle “A” on your connect card.

Haiti Soup Can Project Begins Today! The Mission Board will be handing out soup cans in the main lobby to those who would like to collect change over the summer. The money collected is used by the FBC Haiti Team to purchase glasses which the Team then distributes while there. The Soup Cans will be due back on Sunday, September 17th.

DHS Baccalaureate Service is today at 7pm! Located in the Danville Middle School Auditorium. Baccalaureate is a student-planned, voluntary event to celebrate the spiritual aspects of graduation. You are encouraged to attend to support the students! Pastor Dawes will have a part in the service and our church will be providing refreshments. Please bring cookies, brownies, etc. to donate for the refreshment table. You may leave them in the kitchen this morning marked “Baccalaureate” or bring them directly to the service.

Memorial Pictures of Veterans Needed During our Memorial Sunday services, FBC would like to honor any veteran who has passed. Please send in a picture to the church office by May 22.
Special Donation Opportunity on Memorial Sunday will benefit the Montour County Veterans Assistance Fund. This fund assists local veterans in our area who have fallen on hard times. There will be a special collection box located at the Information Desk on Sunday, May 28. FBC will also be gifting a wreath during the Memorial Day ceremonies at Memorial Park.
30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World begins May 27! Get your Prayer Guide at the Tract Rack while supplies last! This edition focuses prayer on family life, where values are formed and where one is most influenced. We are challenged to look at the Muslim world through the eyes of our loving Father and see them as He does.

Ladies Summer Bible Studybegins Wednesday, May 31, 6:30-8:00pm, third floor in room 230. We will be studying “Knowing God by Name” by Mary Kassian. This 6 week study focuses on 35 Hebrew names of God that describe His character, His relationships, and His purpose. As you learn the significance of each ancient word, you’ll be awestruck by the Lord’s magnificence and your heart compelled to worship and praise Him.
