ANNOUNCEMENTS
Memorial Trees: We are looking to update our records! If you have donated a memorial tree to FBC, please stop by the office and let us know which one it is, the year you donated it, and who it was in memory of.
Holy Ambition in Thrive! Thrive is a Sunday Bible School class for young adults both single and newly married, who not only passionately pursue a deeper relationship with Christ but with other young adults as well! They will be starting a new study called Holy Ambition by Chip Ingram and they want to invite you to join them!
The Barnabas Basket – During the first weekend of every month, FBC collects food items for the Danville Food Bank. The collection basket will be in the Foyer today. The need for March is Cereal.

Midweek Meal: Wednesday, March 7: Dinner is served 4:45-5:45 PM. This week’s menu is Chili, Texas Toast, Salad & the desserts you bring. Please sign up by Monday, March 5 on the Ramp Bulletin Board, in your SBS class or by calling the office. Suggested donation for meals is $3/person or $10/family. If you know of a shut-in or elderly person and would be willing to deliver a meal to them, it is free of charge. Please put their name on the sign up sheet and indicate “Shut-In”. Desserts are on a donation basis, so feel free to share a dessert any time.

Daylight Savings: Time to Spring Ahead! Don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead one hour Saturday (3/10) night.

MegaForce Event Team Meeting TODAY! If you want to be a part of the  action, join us Sunday (3/4) evening at 6pm in the Chapel for a training session. Areas to help are: Ushers, Welcome Team, Resource Table Attendants & Counseling Team.

We Need Stuff to Break Yep! You read that correctly! We are looking for phone books (minimum 2 inches thick) and old license plates that Steve Carrier from MegaForce can rip in half! Please drop off items in the church office by Thursday 3/8.

Spring Fling is Coming Soon!! Danville hosts their Spring festival on Mill Street on Saturday, May 5 from 9am to 5pm! Why are we mentioning it so early? 1. It’s a BLAST to go too! And 2. FBC has their own tent and we encourage you to pray about joining us this year! We hand out bottled water, do crafts with children, sing with Praise Team and more! If you’re interested, circle “S” on your connect card! We are having our first training session on Wednesday, March 14 at 5pm in the BFLC.

Library Book Returns The Library staff encourages you to return any overdue materials. All returns are welcome regardless of their due date.

Please Note! Pastor Dawes will need several weeks to recover from his surgery. If you have a pastoral emergency, please contact Pastor Paul or your deacon. You do not have to be a member. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

MegaForce Love Offering – If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make checks out to FBC and note “MegaForce” in the memo field. Monies can be put in our Love Offering envelopes with “MegaForce” noted on the envelope as well.

 

FBC is Hosting the Jubilee Kitchen! – Saturday, March 17 – Donations of Bar-b-que and Mac-n-Cheese would be greatly appreciated for this meal. Please contact Diane Gelbaugh if you are interested in making a dessert and/or if you would like to help out. Monetary donations can be made out to FBC with Jubilee Kitchen in the memo.
