Project Love Night of Worship TONIGHT @ 6PM – Join us tonight right here in the sanctuary as we gather as the church collective to sing praise to the Lord for what He has done.

Fall Fest Saturday, October 25 12-3pm – Events & Activities: Hayrides | Glow Experience | Petting Zoo | Hot Dogs & Hamburgers | Cotton Candy | Hot Apple Cider | Crafts | Popcorn | Apple Dumplings | Toddler Area…AND MORE!! And its FREE!! How Can I Help? Volunteer sign-ups are in main foyer. Where can YOU serve? Questions? Call the office at (570) 275-1511. Set up help, TUES. & WED. @ 5:30pm, FRI. 9am-5pm. If anyone is willing and able to help, we would appreciate it as it is a massive undertaking.

NO MIDWEEK MINISTRIES THIS WEEK

Fishnet Meeting This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. This week they will meet in the gym to help pack goodie bags for Danville’s Trunk or Treat event.

Kitchen Call!! Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! We are looking for cooks for the new year! Sign up on your Sunday School clipboards or contact Buddy Yarger!

Sensory-Friendly Worship Area “A shush-free, judgment-free zone where ALL can safely learn about God!” Our chapel has been fitted with wiggle seats, fidget toys, dimmable lights, noise-canceling headphones, a calming
special-effect light and more! We welcome all who have unique needs to enjoy this area during our services!

Active Retired Men in Service: Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!

College Care Ministry Donation bin is located by the Kitchen. Monetary donations are gratefully appreciated to help with postage. Please designate “College ministry” and place in the offering. ** Student Info is due 10/26 ** Submit student info even if info hasn’t changed. We reset our list each semester! Help us pack and pray over the boxes on Monday, Nov. 3 @ 6pm! Suggested items to donate by October 27:

Montour County Feed A Friend Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer through October! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as
vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit, soup, pasta & sauce, mac & cheese, boxed stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please.

Halloween is coming Give your trick-or-treaters something sweeter than the candy you’re handing out – the gospel! Halloween-themed tracts are available at the Tract Rack for pickup during the month of October.

Pictures Needed FBC would like to honor any veteran who has served. If you have not done so previously, please send in a picture of your veteran in military dress, if possible, to the church office by November 2nd. Include name and branch of military served.

International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians is Sunday, November 2. This day is set aside as a global prayer meeting on behalf of persecuted Christians who stand as a bold witness to Christ on the world’s most dangerous frontiers. Prayer guides are available at the mission wall,and Welcome Table in the gym. Pick up your copy today!

GREETER COORDINATOR We are looking for a new coordinator for our Greeter Ministry. If you are interested, please contact Linda Sue Davies for details.

The young adult group has created a GroupMe chat to talk, plan events and stay connected. Feel free to share this with a young adult you know. Need more info? Contact Jared Knorr.

October is Pastor & Children’s Ministry Director Appreciation Month We are so thankful for the love, leadership, and dedication they pour into our church family. A card box is available in the lobby for you to share your notes of encouragement and gratitude.
