Looking for a ministry to plug into? If you love working with kids or teens, we’d love to have you as part of the team. Contact the office at (570) 275-1511. Must have Child Safe clearances! We’re looking for helping hands & hearts to serve with:

Awana Cubbies and T&T girls
KidCo (1x/month)
Youth Group

Honduras Support Letters Support letters for the January Honduras trip are now available. Be sure to see one of the team members in the lobby to pick one up Sunday!

Fishnet: This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Linda Beyer.

Active Retired Men in Service: Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!

Wednesday Family Meal
Please remember to sign up for the Wednesday night meal no later than Sunday to ensure we have enough food for Wednesday night.

Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Sunday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Meatball Subs, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Tacos with the Team FOR NEW ATTENDERS!! SUNDAY 9/28 in the gym after the 10:30am service. Come for lunch and get to know our pastors and staff. Interested?? Sign up in the lobby, gym, or your Sunday School class.

Donuts with the Deacons – A “Meet Your Deacon” Event” – Sunday, Sept. 28 9-9:20 & 10-10:30. Did you know you are assigned to a deacon (by your last name) and are able to contact them with any questions or problems you may have? Here is the chance to meet your deacon!! Sunday, Sept. 28th between the services and Sunday School, come on down to the gym, grab your coffee and a donut and find your table to talk to your deacon!

Kitchen Call Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! Wednesday Family Meals are back in action, and we could use your help! Email Buddy Yarger at byarger@danvillefirstbaptist.org

Ladies’ Walking Group This Thursday @ 6:30pm – This group is for ladies of all ages and walking abilities. They meet in the gym then take it outside for a walk around the neighborhood, ending with a short devo and prayer. Come enjoy a time of fitness and community.

Men’s Retreat @ Camp Orchard Hill, Oct. 10-12, 2025 – See the table in the lobby for more info or talk to Pastor John. There is also a SATURDAY ONLY OPTION $120 (Select “Day Guest” when registering. Experience Missions Food Packing Day Wed., October 15 9AM—12 noon – Come on up to Williamsport and help pack food to send across the world. It’s a great family outing. There are sit down jobs available, as well. Signups are in the lobby. Contact Donna Outt for more details.

Project Love October 18-19, 2025

Oct. 18 is the Day of Service where several area churches come together to show love to our community. Signups will be available in the lobby beginning next Sunday! Be sure to check out where you can serve!
Oct. 19 is the Night of Worship here at the church. Save the date and get ready for an amazing gospel weekend.

Thursday – Saturday, October 4-6: Church Prayer Walk—Join us throughout the weekend as we pray for our church, ministries, and outreach events.
Thursday, October 23: Candy packing for Trunk or Treat (10/28). We will be collecting candy in October to hand out at the Trunk or Treat event. Anyone is welcome to pack goody bags.
Saturday, October 25: Fall Fest—our big outreach event. There will be lots of areas where volunteers are needed. Signups coming soon!
