Red Cross Blood Drive will be here tomorrow, September 29, in the BFLC (gym) from 1-6pm. Register for a time slot to donate at www.redcross.org.
October is Staff Appreciation Month! Celebrate our pastors and Children’s Ministry Director by leaving a card or note of thanks at the table in the main lobby.

Please remember to sign up for the Wednesday night meal no later than Sunday to ensure we have enough food for Wednesday night.
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up Sunday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Shepherds Pie and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Brief Special Business Meeting Sunday, October 12 immediately following the 8AM service – All members are encouraged to attend as we vote on several new member candidates recommended by our Board of Deacons.
FBC Connect Class begins next Sunday, October 5 at 9:15. If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office! (570) 275-1511
Church Prayer Walk This Thursday: 5-8PM, Friday: 9AM-5PM, Saturday: 8AM-12 NOON – Come by yourself, with your family, Sunday school class or home group to pray over our church and its ministries. You can pick up your prayer pamphlet in the main lobby to begin your walk.
Bells of Joy are Back! Handbell choir is starting up for the Fall. Now is a great time to check it out! The first rehearsal is tomorrow night from 6-7:15pm in the Bell Room. Note: you need to be able to read music.
Montour County Feed A Friend Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer through October! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as

Work Trip to Boone, North Carolina with Samaritan’s Purse November 9-14, 2025 – We are looking for men and/or women interested in going to NC to help rebuild after the devastating flooding from Hurricane Helene. An informational meeting will be held next Sunday, October 5th at 9:15am under the balcony.
Food Packing Day at Experience Missions Wed., October 15, 9am—12 noon; Come on up to Williamsport and help pack food to send across the world. It’s a great family outing. There are sit down jobs available, as well. Signups are in the lobby. Contact Donna Outt for more details. Signups close next Sunday!

Candy Collection & Help for Trunk-or-Treat The Danville Primary School will be hosting their 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Tuesday, Oct. 28 from 5-7pm and FBC will have a trunk present! Here are a few ways you can help:
- Pray for safety & that the gospel would reach searching hearts
- Candy donations! Donation bins are located in main foyer, gym, & chapel areas
- Help with event! Call the office if you want to get in on the fun!
- Pack treat bags on Thursday, Oct. 23 @ 9AM in the gym
