Game Night Coming Up! Our first one is this Friday, January 9th @ 6pm We gather together in the gym bringing our favorite games and snacks to share.
 
FBC Connect Class is taking place January 11, 18 & 25 @ 9:15 AM. If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office!
 
Wednesday Family Meal
Please remember to sign up for the Wednesday night meal no later than today to ensure we have enough food for Wednesday night.
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Sunday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Tomato Basil Chicken Pasta, Salad, Bread and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.
 
Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family. If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.
 
Open Pickleball Anyone is welcome to come play in the gym Tuesdays at 7pm.
 
Active Retired Men in Service meet Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!
 
Snow Many Good Books! Slide into our Library and wrap yourself up in a good book. There’s a flurry of great titles for all ages! And no cold-shoulder for late returns. The Library is open between services on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
 
Awana Toy Donations Need to get rid of excess toys? We are collecting new & gently used toys for our Awana store. It greatly helps to offset the cost of the store. A bin will be available downstairs during the month of January!
 
NEW COUPLES’ STUDY What if one word could change everything for your marriage? According to best-selling author Gary Thomas, it can – and that word is “cherish”! Drawing from decades of experience with couples, he believes that when you and your spouse choose to notice,
appreciate, honor, and encourage one another it will bring hope, light, and life into your relationship. Begins Wednesday @ 6pm in the sanctuary. 
 
Tacos with the Team For NEW ATTENDERS! Sunday, January 25th @ 11:45am in gym. You are invited to a luncheon for the opportunity to get to know our pastors and staff. Sign up in Sunday school class or the main lobby if interested.

LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY SERMON ON THE MOUNT by Jen Wilkin starts January 13 & 14, 2026. What if we navigated these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard? What if we read them as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus? Join us in this 9-session study, revised & updated, from Jen Wilkin as she invites you to do just that. Come and learn from Jesus, just as His disciples did. Because of Your Love in Action…
  • Christmas Gifts were delivered to 49 of our housebound church family December 12th & 13th! We were able to carol to 10 of our saints this year.
  • 490 Christmas Cards were delivered to the Northumberland, Columbia and Montour county prisons and NCSTU.
  • Hundreds of gifts were given through the Christmas Tree of Love. A heartfelt thank you to our church family for the love and generosity shown Your giving spirit touched so many lives – young and old. Stephanie Butler, the middle school counselor, shared her appreciation for the many gifts provided for the students.  Your kindness truly

  • 2 large buckets full of school supplies were collected for the children in Honduras.
 
Calling All Prayer Warriors It’s time to update our Prayer Chain! There is nothing more powerful than lifting each other in prayer to our Loving Father in times of great need. The Prayer Chain is available by phone and/or email. If you would like to be added, contact the church office.
 
Bible in a Year Join the Bible Caravan in 2026! A group of us will be reading the Bible in chronological order in 2026. Read or listen to the fifteen minute daily passage, and connect with others online or in-person weekly to learn from each other. Interested?
