Church Business Meeting This Saturday (5/17) @ 9 AM. Goodies & Coffee available at 8:30. All are welcome to attend; however, only members who attend will be able to vote. We will be voting on proposed revisions to the Constitution and discussing various topics of church business.
Special Mother’s Day Offering Today is Mother’s Day and we will be taking a special freewill offering to bless our MomCO group. This would be above and beyond your normal giving. Please designate checks/envelopes with “MomCo”. A gift will also be given to the local area pregnancy centers in honor of Mother’s Day.
New Devotionals Check out the Tract Rack & Welcome Table to pick up your copy of Our Daily Bread and Unlocked (for teens) for June, July, & August.
Red Cross Blood Drive will be here this Tuesday, May 13th in the BFLC (gym) from 1-6pm. You can sign up for a time slot at www.redcross.org.
Looking for Drivers The Costa Rica team is looking for a couple drivers willing to transport the team to and from Dulles Int’l Airport June 21 and 28. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Luke or Jeanie Wesner.

Fishnet Meeting This Week This group of amazing ladies will be meeting again on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.
Ladies’ Summer Bible Study Heaven by Jennifer Rothschild – Beginning May 21st | 6:30pm in Room 230 – A 6-week video based study exploring the subject of heaven from a biblical perspective. Dispel myths & media-influenced images to gain a biblical understanding of this essential truth. Can be done individually or in small groups. Zoom also available. Sign up in the Main Lobby. Vacation Bible School July 7-11 | 6-8:30PM – To volunteer to help, make sure you are up-to date with your clearances at danvillefirstbaptist.org/safe-church. Go to our website to complete the annual Safe Church Training videos and fill out the corresponding form.

SOUND TRAINING OPPORTUNITY Ever wonder what all those knobs and sliders do on the sound board? Now’s your chance to find out! Whether you’re curious, eager to serve, or just love tech, join us for an exciting hands-on Sound Training led by Pastor John on Tuesday, May 20 at 7:00 PM in the sanctuary. You’ll learn the basics of live sound, get real-time experience mixing, and discover how YOU can play a part in creating an awesome worship environment. This training is open to teens and adults—no prior experience needed! Contact Pastor John, if interested.
Special Memorial Opportunities Memorial Sunday, there will be a special collection opportunity that will benefit the Montour County Veterans Assistance Fund. This fund assists local veterans in our area who have fallen on hard times.

Promotion Sunday May 25 @ 9:15am – Join us in the sanctuary for a short program as we celebrate the end of the school year! We’ll be presenting Bibles to new 1st graders (current Kindergarteners), devotions to our new 4th graders (current 3rd graders), and acknowledging our 6th & 8th graders move to Middle & High School. We’ll also be thanking our teachers for their tireless work throughout the year. New classes will begin on Sunday, June 1st. Adult classes are invited to attend!
