River baptism – Sunday, July 22 – 4:30pm – Bring your chair to the Danville side of the river by the bridge as we celebrate the public statement of changed life! Cookies & Brownies Needed – Any and all non-meltable (it’s hot out there!) goodies would be appreciated! Please drop off items marked “baptism” in the kitchen by Sunday morning or bring items directly to the baptism. Thank you in advance!
 
Iron Heritage Hymn Sing at 6:30pm Following the baptism, the Iron Heritage Festival will have their annual hymn sing there!
 

Vesper Service at the Montour-Delong Community Fair – Join us on Sunday, July 29 at 7:00 PM to kick off the fair by praising God! The fair is located at 5848 Broadway Road, Danville.

VBS/FFD Wrap Up Heartfelt thanks to all who helped during VBS and on Family Fun Day!! What an amazing time of extending God’s love to our community! · Extra Operation Arctic Music CDs are located at the Info Desk· Continue to pray for those who made decisions for Christ! There were approximately 600 people who enjoyed Family Fun Day!

Thrive @ Knoebels! Catch the 8:30am van to go worship at Knoebels Campground next Sunday 7/29! Meet the group at the gym entrance. Afterwards, enjoy lunch and fellowship with the group at Knoebels. A great way to connect!

Building Committee Meeting Recap Our group of 15 met with the architect, Mike Hiller, on Monday evening to discuss the vision and goals of Phase One and how it will impact Phase Two. Calling Golfers of All Levels! There will be an informal golf outing each week on Thursdays at 4:30pm at the Links at Hemlock Creek in Bloomsburg. If you are interested, please contact Jim Andrews.

Haiti Soup Can Project Begins Today!  Soup cans are available in the main lobby to those who would like to collect change over the summer. The money collected is used by the FBC Haiti Team to purchase glasses which the Team then distributes while there in November. The Soup Cans will be due back on Sunday, September 16th.

 

The Socks & Underwear Drive is here!! Please bring your donation of new socks and/or underwear for boys and girls, sizes 4-16 to the kitchen foyer until Sunday, August 12th. These items will be given by the Good Samaritan ministry to local students in need as they prepare for the new school year.
