Children’s Church Wraps up After December 3rd. This allows the children and adults helping to enjoy the special musical offerings during the Christmas season. Children’s Church will resume on January 7. Thank you Rosann & Team!
Barnabas Sunday: Next Week! During the first Sunday of every month, FBC collects food items for the Danville Food Bank. The collection basket will be in the Foyer next Sunday. December’s need is Canned Goods.
Parents! This is Your Chance!! On Friday, 12/1 we will have guest speaker, Brandon Glenn from Shiloh Bible Church in Bloomsburg, to share about how parents of children of ALL ages can talk to their children about sex. It’s never too early or late to bring up the subject. If you are interested in attending, circle “S” on your connect card or sign up at the Info Desk.

Midweek Meal: Wednesday, 11/29 Dinner is served 4:45-5:45 PM. This week’s menu is Cheeseburger Pie, Carrot Raisin Salad & the desserts you bring. Please sign up by Monday, November 27 on the Ramp Bulletin Board, in your SBS class or by calling the office. Suggested donation for meals is $3/person or $10/family. If you know of a shut-in or elderly person and would be willing to deliver a meal to them, it is free of charge. Please put their name on the sign up sheet and indicate “Shut-In”. Desserts are on a donation basis, so feel free to share a dessert.

Memorial Poinsettias: Poinsettias may be ordered in honor or in memory of a loved one. The suggested donation is $7.50. If you are interested, please contact the church office at (570) 275-1511 no later than December  14th.

Special Business Meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, December 3 at 9:10am in the sanctuary. It will be brief so you’ll have time for your Sunday Bible class. The items to be discussed will be the Thanksgiving & Christmas Offerings and how they will be allocated. All are welcome to attend, however only members can vote.

Thanksgiving Offering Envelopes are located in the pew racks this weekend.Make a Difference! Do you wish you could share the gospel easily and naturally? Then you won’t want to miss the Make a Difference training seminar at Bloomsburg Christian Church on Saturday 12/9 from 9am to 2pm. Lunch will be provided. Dominican Republic Mission Trip!! Wellsboro First Baptist Church would like to invite any medical personnel to come along with them to the Dominican Republic January 6-16. FBC Connect Class Begins Next Week! If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This is a 3-part class and will take place on December 3, 10 & 17 in the Conference Room (across from the church office). If you have any questions, feel free to call the church office!

Red Cross Blood Drive Next WeekWith all of the recent tragedies happening, the Red Cross needs your help with blood donations! Join us anytime between 1-6pm Monday, December 4th in the BFLC (gym).

Christmas Tracts & More! Check out the Tract Rack for holiday inspired tracts, 2018 calendars, as well as the new Our Daily Bread devotional. These free resources help in sharing encouragement and the good news!

Fishnet Partners! Fishnet Ministries processes large quantities of goods that will be sent to the mission field. This Thursday, they will be working on processing eye glasses in the BFLC from 9-12pm. All are welcome!

Church Administrator Position Opening With Fil retiring in January, FBC is beginning the search for our new Church Administrator! This is a

Because of your Love In Action… Jubilee Kitchen was a big success! There was plenty of food and help to go around! Thank you to all who supported this event. A special thank you to those who helped serve; youth, Daughters of the Divine, the Jenney family and to Diane Gelbaugh who coordinated it!

Children’s Clothes Needed: Good Samaritan Mission is always appreciative of gently used clothing for our economically challenged neighbors.  There is a special need at the present time for children’s clothing of all sizes. Donations can be dropped off at 491 Ferry Street, Danville. Any clothing Good Samaritan Mission cannot use will be passed along to GAiN.

Christmas Tree of Love: Christmas is a time of giving! In that spirit, the Sunday School is sponsoring a Tree of Love. You will find the tree in the kitchen foyer. Each ornament represents a person and a gift request or suggestion. As God leads you, please take an ornament from the tree and return it unwrapped in a Christmas-style gift bag to the church office by December 17th. Please keep the ornament with the gift so it goes to the right person. If you are giving a gift card, please attach the receipt and/or the activation slip with the card. Thanks for caring!

The Jubilee Kitchen is looking for Drivers! Volunteers are needed to pick up donuts and bread goods each Saturday morning at 8:00am from Dunkin Donuts, Weis and Giant, and deliver them to the Jubilee Kitchen at Trinity Lutheran Church.
