Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Chicken Pot Pie Ring, Green Salad, Applesauce & the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Groups & Studies begin on Sept. 7 at 6pm!!
  • Nursery: Care for children birth through 2 years
  • Awana: Bible learning, games & fun for children ages 3-6th grade
  • Iron Youth Jr. & Sr. High: Pastor Luke provides fun & Bible learning for grades 6-12. Room 10|Youth Room (Iron Forge)
  • Adult Bible Study: Pastor Paul will be leading a study on the book of John. Room 224/226 (3rd floor above offices)
  • Ladies’ Open Door Bible Study: We’ll be studying God of Freedom by Jen Wilkin, a 10 week study on Exodus 19-40. Tuesday morning sessions will begin on 9/6 at 9:00am. Wednesday evening sessions will begin on 9/7 at 6:00pm. Suggested book donation is $22. Childcare is available at both sessions! Sign up sheets are available in the main lobby! Tues. Chapel | Wed. Room 230, 2nd Floor, end of hallway
  • Devoted Couples Study: We’ll be studying “The Crazy Cycle in Marriage” by Dr Emerson Eggerichs. Join us as we study God’s design for marriage and challenge each other to live it out. Led by Pasto John & Shelly. Back of the sanctuary
  • Divorce Care Group: For married, separated, divorced men and women. Registration Fee is $15. Begins 9/7 in Room 105 (2nd floor hallway that parallels the gym)
  • FBC Library Wed. Hours: 5:45-7:30pm
 
Summer Campground Ministry – Join our own Terry Davis and the Shamokin Area Christian Laymen Association as they share the good news each Sunday! SUNDAY IS THE LAST SERVICE OF THE SEASON
  • 9am – Knoebels: Across from campground registration desk *Bring chairs!
  • 10:30am – J&D Campground: Multi-purpose building *Seating provided
 
Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family, but also those who desire to invest in their marriages. If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope
 
Happening TODAY! The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in the main lobby. September’s Need is Canned Vegetables.

FBC Connect Class – Happening Sept. 11, 18 & 25 – If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office!

Bells of Joy are Back! Handbell choir is starting up for the Fall. Now is a great time to check it out! Our first rehearsal will be on Monday, September 12 from 6-7:15pm in the Bell Room. Note: you need to be able to read music.
 
Kitchen Call!! Wednesday Family Meals begin THIS WEEK! Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! This well-loved ministry will be back in action soon and needs help! Circle K on your connect card or call the office!
 
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is part of an international movement to connect moms who have one or more children ages birth to kindergarten. Their goal is to provide you with a tribe of supportive women as you navigate the world of motherhood, faith, and life together.
We are back in the building! If you or someone you know feels called to serve in the MOPs ministry, we would love some volunteers to pour into our kiddos in the nursery during our meetings the 2nd Wed. of the month, Sept-May, 9-11am, here at FBC. FOR MORE INFO:

Football Chapel THIS Friday – Games for the Danville High School Football team are upon us, as are football chapels! The guys meet at 6am on
Friday mornings prior to games for prayer and devotions…and breakfast!!
