Brief Special Business Meeting Sunday immediately following the 8am service. All members are encouraged to attend as we vote on new member candidates recommended by our Board of Deacons.
 
Project Love Saturday—Project Day is Next Sunday; Worship Night Sunday (10/19) @ 6p – Be a part of “our community in Christ, reaching our community for Christ”. Register today! See lobby table for registration forms! Completed registrations can be placed in the basket.
 
Wednesday Family Meal
Please remember to sign up for the Wednesday night meal no later than today to ensure we have enough food for Wednesday night.
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up Sunday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office Menu: Ravioli, Salad and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.
 
Fishnet Meeting This Week! This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Linda.
 
The Ladies’ Walking Group will meet at 6:30pm in the gym and then walk around the neighborhood. This group is for ladies of all ages and walking abilities.
 
October is Pastor & Children’s Ministry Director Appreciation Month! We are so thankful for the love, leadership, and dedication they pour into our church family. A card box is available in the lobby for you to share your notes of encouragement and gratitude.
 
Project Love Worship Night Next Sunday, October 19 @ 6PM – Join us next Sunday evening right here in the sanctuary as we gather as the church collective to sing praise to the Lord for what He has done.
 
Candy Collection & Help for Trunk-or-Treat The Danville Primary School will be hosting their 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Tuesday, Oct. 28 from 5-7pm and FBC will have a trunk present! Here are a few ways you can help:
  • Pray for safety & that the gospel would reach searching hearts
  • Candy donations! Donation bins are located in main foyer, gym, & chapel areas. Donations Due: NEXT SUNDAY!
  • Help with event! Call the office if you want to get in on the fun!
  • Pack treat bags on Thursday, Oct. 23 @ 9AM in the gym
 
College Care Ministry Donation bin is located by the Kitchen. Monetary donations are gratefully accepted to help with postage. Please designate “College ministry” and place in the offering. * Student Info is due OCT. 26! See Connect Card!* Submit student info even if info hasn’t changed.We reset our list each semester! Help us pack and pray over the boxes on Monday, 11/3 @ 6pm! Suggested items to donate by October 27:

Montour County Feed A Friend Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer through October! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as
vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit, soup, pasta & sauce, mac & cheese, boxed stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please.
 
Need a Home Group? We currently have several home groups that are looking to add more people. If you have been interested in joining a small group, please contact the office at (570) 275-1511.

Halloween is coming! Give your trick-or-treaters something sweeter than the candy you’re handing out – the gospel! Halloween-themed tracts are available at the Tract Rack for pickup during the month of October.
