Orchestra Players Needed! Need a reason to dust off that instrument in the closet? Pastor John is looking for instrumentalists to accompany the singing during the 8:00 & 10:30 services next Sunday. Rehearsal will be that morning at 7:15 AM. All the sheet music is on our website:

Vintage Knolls Visit Saturday at 3 pm – Our next visit will be this Saturday at 3pm. We will be singing and playing Christmas music. If anyone is willing to come and play a song or two, they are welcome to do so. Please contact Louann Wilkie. Help us spread Christmas joy to the residents!
 
Open Pickleball Anyone is welcome to come play in the gym Tuesdays at 7pm.
 
Red Cross Blood Drive will be here Monday, December 1st from 1-6pm. Register online at redcross.org.
 
The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month. All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in the main lobby. December’s Need: Soup.
 
Wednesday Family Meal
Please remember to sign up for the Wednesday night meal no later than today to ensure we have enough food for Wednesday night.
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up no later than Sunday: Welcome Table in the gym, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Beef, Noodles, Carrots and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.
 
Project Christmas Card Goal: Send 500 Christmas cards to prisoners in the Columbia, Montour, Northumberland & NCSTU Prisons. All the cards have been picked up!! Thank you! Please return them to the basket in the main lobby by next Sunday!! Our prison ministry teams will deliver them to the prisons.
 
Christmas Tree of Love Christmas is a time of giving! You will find the Tree of Love in the kitchen foyer by the gym entrance. Each ornament represents a person and a gift request or suggestion. As God leads you, please take an ornament from the tree and return it unwrapped in a
Christmas-style gift bag to the church office. Please keep the ornament with the gift so we can get it to the right person. If you are giving a gift card, please attach the receipt and/or the activation slip with the gift card. Children’s gifts are due: NEXT SUNDAY! Adults’ gifts are due: December 14th. 
 
Call for Cookies! We will be delivering gifts to our shut-ins on December 12th and caroling on the 13th. We love including a goody bag of Christmas cookies. If you would like to donate any yummy cookies, please bring them to the kitchen by Wednesday, December 10. Mark it for shut-ins.
 
Memorial Poinsettias Order them in honor or memory of loved ones The suggested donation is $8.50. If you are interested, please contact the church office at (570) 275-1511 or sign up on the connect card or through our newsletter by NEXT SUNDAY. They will be available to pick up beginning December 14th.
 
Special Business Meeting Next Sunday, December 7 @ 9:10AM – This will be a brief meeting to vote in two new board members: Jared Treas for the Deacon Board and Tae Kwon for the Elder Board. All members are encouraged to attend as this will be a ballot vote.
 
Looking for Delivery Drivers Wanna rev your engines for a warm cause? We are looking for drivers to assist us in dropping off Christmas gifts to our sweet home bound church family. Gift pick-up will be Friday, December 12th from 9am-4pm in the main foyer. Drivers will be provided with addresses and phone numbers. If interested, call the office at (570) 275-1511.
 
Caroling SATURDAY, 12/13 @ 1 PM – Do you love caroling and spreading joy? Then join us as we hand out gifts and sing to some of our dear shut-ins and nursing home residents. To sign up, call the office (570) 275-1511.
 
LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY Sermon on the Mount – Starting January 13 & 14, 2026. What if we navigated these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard?
