HONDURAS 2026 Our next trip to Honduras will be January 3-10, 2026. Applications are available at the Mission Wall in the main lobby and are due back to the office by this Thursday!! There will be a team meeting Sunday, August 3rd, in the gym following the second service.

 

Vintage Knolls Visit this Saturday at 2pm, Anyone is welcome to come. Contact Jen Van Horn if you are interested. Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community. This week, we will be joining the residents making ice cream sundaes!

 

The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in the main foyer. August’s Need: Peanut Butter & Saltines

 

Rice Boxes are still available in the lobby for those wanting to collect their loose change this summer for a good cause! They are due back September 7th with all donations going to Honduras.

 

Ladies Walking Group: This group is open to women of all ages and walking abilities. Come, lace up your walking shoes and connect with others while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation with every step. We meet every other Thursday @ 6:30pm beginning in the gym. After a short break, we are starting up again this Thursday, July 31st!

 

Fishnet: This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Linda.

Special Offering Opportunity Beginning next Sunday, we will be collecting donations to go towards our FBC-supported missionaries for Christmas gifts. Special envelopes will be available in the pews. Please note “Mission Christmas” on any donations.

 

Ladies Retreat Weekend will be Sept. 12-14, 2025 at Linck Hill Inn, Morris, PA. Spots are filling up, so make sure you register soon. A $25
deposit with your registration will secure your spot. Registration forms are in the lobby or online.

MomCo Playpalooza A Kids Playdate and MomCo Open House is happening Wednesday, August 13 9-11am at First Baptist. Come see what MomCo is all about – a community of moms doing motherhood together. Activities for kids include a bounce house, sensory station, arts and crafts, and dress up.
