Tacos with the Team FOR NEW ATTENDERS! Sunday (3/16) at 11:45am in the gym. You are invited to a luncheon today in the gym as an opportunity to get to know our pastors and staff.

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon normally at the home of Linda Beyer. This week they will be meeting at the church in Room 7. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.
 
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!

Community Prayer Walk Next Sunday, March 23 after the 10:30 am service – This walk will be devoted to praying for our local schools. Costa Rica Mission Trip Our youth group is headed back to Costa Rica, June 22-28, 2025!! Stop by the team’s table in the main lobby to pick up a copy of their support letter. Prayerfully consider how you can help!

Ladies’ Walking Group This Thursday | 6:30pm in the gym This group is for ladies of all ages and walking abilities. They meet in the gym for fellowship, fitness and fun, and will move outside after the time change and the weather clears. Come enjoy a time of fitness and community.

Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund blesses those with various financial needs in our church family. If you find yourself with a hardship, you’re welcome to bring this need to your deacon. If you would like to give to this fund, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.

Donuts with the Deacons Sunday (2/23)! 9-9:20am & 10:10-10:30am – This is a chance to meet your deacon between the services and Sunday School. Come on down to the gym, grab your coffee and a donut and find your table to talk to your deacon!
 
Ladies Walking Group This group is open to women of all ages and walking abilities. Come, lace up your walking shoes and connect with others. They meet this Thursday at 6:30pm in the gym.
 
The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in the main lobby. March’s Need is Cereal.

With acrostics, checklists and digging deeper sections you will be guided through tough questions in the workplace and beyond. DERBY WORKSHOP THIS SATURDAY (2/15) 9-11AM – Parents/Guardians and their kiddos will be working on their derby cars to get them ready for the Awana Grand Prix on Saturday, Feb. 22. We are looking for carpenters to help out parents/guardians at each of the following work stations at the workshop:
  • Wood Cutting
  • Sanding
  • Painting
  • Wheels n Axles
  • Weigh Station
Want to help? Contact the church office. Any tools/materials you want to bring would be appreciated, but are not necessary.

Library Recommendation of the Week Want to learn how Jesus is touching hearts? ‘Forbidden Miracles’ by Mina Nevisa is the unforgettable sequel to her bestselling autobiography ‘Miracle of Miracles’ which details her conversion from Islam. Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.
 
Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family, but also those who desire to invest in their marriages. If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.
 
Awana Derby Workshop is SATURDAY, FEB. 15 – 9-11AM. Parents/Guardians and their kiddos will be working on their derby cars to get them ready for the Awana Grand Prix on Saturday, Feb. 22. We are looking for carpenters to help out parents/guardians at each of the following work stations at the workshop:
  • Wood Cutting
  • Sanding
  • Painting
  • Wheels n Axles
  • Weigh Station
Want to help? Contact the church office. Any tools/materials you want to bring would be appreciated, but are not necessary.

FBC Connect Class Begins Sunday (1/26) 9:15am – If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! Project: Surprise Valentine! Grab an envelope at the Welcome Desk or Welcome Table for someone who could use a little extra love this season. It could be a shut in, someone going through cancer or experiencing grief, a family with a new baby, or someone just needing encouragement. Send them notes, cards, homemade drawings, or any special idea you come up with. Our challenge: Don’t stop at one, grab your directory and send out several others to show love to our church family or to someone who has blessed you this past year.
 
Ladies’ Walking Group This Thursday, January 30th at 6:30pm in the gym. They are back and eager to get walking! This group is for ladies of all ages and walking abilities. They meet in the gym for fellowship, fitness and fun, and will move outside after the time change and the weather clears. Come enjoy a time of fitness and community.

The Barnabas Basket is our monthly food collection. All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket is located in the main foyer. February’s need is soup. They’re looking for volunteers to help distribute food the 2nd Sat. of every month.

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday All adults are encouraged to attend our combined Sunday School class Sunday, January 19 at 9:15am in the gym as we hear from Marthe Beauvais from Your Loving Choices in Bloomsburg.
 
Snow Many Good Books! Slide into our Library and wrap yourself up in a good book. There’s a flurry of great titles for all ages! And no cold-shoulder for late returns. The Library is open between services on Sunday and on Wednesday evenings.
 
Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.
 
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!

Special Business Meeting Sunday (1/12) after the 8am service. This will be a brief meeting to vote in new members per the deacons’ recommendation. Join us immediately following the 8am service in the sanctuary. 
 

Baptisms happening during the 10:30 service this Sunday (1/12)! Several people have made the decision to follow Jesus’ example in baptism! Please encourage them today and in their ongoing walk with Jesus. “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” Galatians 3:26-27

Ladies Bible Study Begins Tuesday! January 14 @ 9AM – Who is Jesus? How one answers this question proves the most important thing about them. In this study of the Gospel of John, women will behold the glory of God revealed in Jesus Christ and experience His life-transforming power as they come to believe that He is the great I AM!
