Pictures Needed FBC would like to honor any veteran who has served. If you have not done so previously, please send in a picture of your veteran in military dress, if possible, to the church office by Sunday. Include name and branch of military served in.

 

Fishnet Meeting This Week! This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Linda (570) 238-5468.

 

Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund blesses those financially hurting in our church family. If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.

Menu: Chili, Cornbread, Salad and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

 

Winterwear Collection We are collecting gently used, like-new winter outerwear & clothing e.g. coats, hats, gloves, scarves, snowpants, etc. They will be delivered to Rochester, NY where our missionary Marvin Robinson will hand them out to the community. Donation Box in main lobby. Due 11/16

Ladies’ Walking Group is this Thursday (Nov. 6) at 6:30pm. This group is for ladies of all ages and walking abilities. Now that the days are shorter, they meet in the gym. Come enjoy a time of fitness, fellowship, and community.

Montour County Feed A Friend Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer through October! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as
vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit, soup, pasta & sauce, mac & cheese, boxed stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please.
