Soup Cans are Ready for Pick-up! The funds you collect in your soup cans will go toward the cost of eyeglasses that will be distributed during FBC short-term missions trips. The Forge welcomes guest speaker, Shane Manney. This Tuesday @ 7PM. Shane is the founder and director of 5 Stones Fight Club in Lebanon, PA, an outreach focused on at risk youth. While the gospel is first and foremost, participants also learn discipline, character development as well as growing deeper spiritually. All are welcome!

Barnabas Sunday During the first Sunday of every month, FBC collects food items for the Danville Food Bank. The collection basket is in the Foyer today. March’s need is for Cereal.

 

LuoPad Team Join us the first Thursday of every month at 9:30am as we continue to assemble LuoPads in the BFLC. This is an ongoing mission through GAiN that provides sanitary undergarments to women all over the world! We’d love to have you join us! If you’d like sewing lessons so you can help out, contact Patty Miller.

 

Soup Can Need In this season for soup, the Mission Board is in need of empty, clean, 10.5oz soup cans. Please drop off by the kitchen. Thanks!

 

Midweek Meal: Wednesday, March 6: Dinner is served 4:45-5:45 PM. This week’s menu is Chicken Sloppy Joes with Mac & Cheese & the desserts you bring. Please sign up by Monday, 3/4 on the Ramp Bulletin Board, in your SBS class or by calling the office. Suggested donation for meals is $3/person or $10/family. If you know of a shut-in or elderly person and would be willing to deliver a meal to them, it is free of charge. Please put their name on the sign up sheet and indicate “Shut-In”. Desserts are on a donation basis, so feel free to share a dessert any time.

Church Safety & Security Seminar Saturday, March 23 from 11AM-5PM – Ron Anderson is a certified instructor and will be teaching on tactics, planning, utilizing cover, confrontation techniques and much more! Training – Leaders Embracing All-Abilities & Diversity – God’s Champions Special Needs Ministry is inviting Hand in Hand Family Resource Center to provide a training that includes tips and information on interacting appropriately with people with disabilities. Spring Fling – Calling Planners! Sign-up Today! Danville hosts their Spring festival on Mill Street on Saturday, May 4 from 9am to 5pm! This is always an awesome opportunity to reach our community for Christ! FBC has a tent each year and we are looking for planners from our church family to organize this event. Gluten Free Communion – Individually wrapped gluten free wafers are now available for pick up on communion Sundays! They will be located on the ushers’ table in the back of the sanctuary. Feel free to pick yours up prior the service starting!
