Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family, but also those who desire to invest in their marriages. If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.
 
Red Cross Blood Drive will be here next Monday, Oct 10th, in the BFLC (gym) from 12:30-5:30pm. The Red Cross is in need of blood and is taking every precaution to keep everyone safe during their collections. Sign up to donate at redcross.org
 
Unto Warehouse Packing Day – October 22, 2022 – We’ll be headed again to the Unto Warehouse, 1506 Quarry Rd, Mt Joy, PA 17552 to pack a variety of items. Food packing times are 9:30 – 11:30am. Be there by 9am to sign in. Close-toed shoes are required at the warehouse. If you want to stay longer you can also pack clothing, shoes, Luo pads, blankets, gospel bracelets & other items in the afternoon. Children are welcome to serve with their parents! Lunch is provided. Their goal is to provide you with a tribe of supportive women as you navigate the world of motherhood, faith, and life together. We are back in the building! If you or someone you know feels called to serve in the MOPs ministry, we would love some volunteers to pour into our kiddos in the nursery during our meetings the 2nd Wed. of the month, Sept-May, 9-11am, here at FBC. FBC Connect If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This 3-part class will take place in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office! Family Meal Sign-ups begin next week! Sign up sheets will be available in adult Sunday school classes, on the ramp bulletin board and in the Friday newsletters. Signing up you and/or your family for the Wednesday family meal is a tremendous help to our kitchen team so they know how much food to make. The Kitchen team will continue their ministry to our sweet shut-ins! If you would like to bring a meal to a shut-in, sign them up, note ”shut-in” and the kitchen team will box the meal up for you to pick up.

They will be studying God of Freedom by Jen Wilkin.This 10 session video Bible study on Exodus 19-40 which explores what freedom looks like for the Israelites under God’s good rule and good laws. This study walks through verse-by-verse, revisiting scenes from the Ten Commandments, golden calf idle worship, and the tabernacle.  Jen Wilkin invites you to discover a new perspective on Exodus and what these stories can teach us today about how to live as those set free from sin and death. Zoom available on Wed evenings..

Kitchen Team Meeting Tuesday @ 6:30pm in the chapel for anyone interested in helping with the midweek meals. This includes cooking, setup, serving and cleanup. Spice up our kitchen by using your gifts and talents in this area!

Football Chapel Starting Soon! First Football Chapel is this Friday @ 10am, special time! Games for the Danville High School Football team are upon us, as are football chapels! The students normally meet at 6:55am on Friday mornings prior to games for prayer and devotions…and breakfast!!

Iron Youth Kickoff is Coming!! August 31, 5:30-8pm for grades 6-12. Lots of fun activities including an inflatable, slip-n-slide, treats and more. There will be a short parent/guardian meeting at 7pm.

Their goal is to provide you with a tribe of supportive women as you navigate the world of motherhood, faith, and life together. We are back in the building! If you or someone you know feels called to serve in the MOPs ministry, we would love some volunteers to pour into our kiddos in the nursery during our meetings the 2nd Wed. of the month, Sept-May, 9-11am, here at FBC. Fishnet Will Not Be Meeting this week. They will resume on Thursday, August 11th from 9:15am-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.
 
Active Retired Men in Service: Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meet for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!
 
Kitchen Call!! Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! This well-loved ministry will be back in action soon and needs help!  Call the office!
