Poinsettias may be ordered in honor or in memory of a loved one. The suggested donation is $7.50. If you are interested, please stop by the Info Desk or contact the church office at (570) 275-1511 no later than December 14th.

Christmas is a time of giving! You will find the Tree of Love in the kitchen foyer by the gym entrance. Each ornament represents a person and a gift request or suggestion. As God leads you, please take an ornament from the tree and return it unwrapped in a Christmas-style gift bag to the church office by December 16th. Please keep the ornament with the gift so we can get it to the right person. If you are giving a gift card, please attach the receipt and/or the activation slip with the gift card.

- The Feed-a-Friend program gave food baskets to 383 families in our community!
- Diane Gelbaugh, who coordinated the Jubilee Kitchen’s Thanksgiving meal yesterday, was overwhelmed with the generous support from the congregation. The youth had a great time helping to serve the meal as part of their 30 Hour Famine event.

Haiti Support Letters – The Haiti Mission Team is getting ready to go on their trip November 10-17! If you would like to support their trip, letters are available in the main lobby. Church Business Meeting – 6:30 pm | Wednesday 10/31 | Chapel – We are excited about how the Lord is working in and through our fellowship! Join us as we discuss ministry reports, Building Committee findings, wifi wiring update, new members and more! Board & Committee Leaders: Please have your reports into the office by 10/26. Thanks! Haiti Team Meeting Next Sunday at 3:00pm in the Chapel. Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the big packing meeting on 11/5. You don’t want to miss these!
Midweek Meal: Wednesday, October 17: Dinner is served 4:45-5:45 PM. This week’s menu is to be determined (but it’ll be yummy!) & the desserts you bring. Please sign up by Monday, 10/15 on the Ramp Bulletin Board, in your SBS class or by calling the office. Suggested donation for meals is $3/person or $10/family. Coffee Hour Help Needed The Sunday morning Coffee Hour group would like to add another friendly face to their team! If you are interested or have questions, contact Christine Puccio. Check Out the Tract Rack! Halloween Tracts and 2019 calendars are now available at the Tract Rack located in the main lobby. You’ll find many other resources there like Our Daily Bread and much more!

School Supplies for Haiti – The Haiti Team is collecting school supplies for the children of Haiti. They’ll distribute them on their November mission trip. Please leave your donations of the following suggested items in the basket outside the kitchen.
- Ball Point Pens
- Spiral notebooks, large with 70 pages
- Wooden Pencils
- Notebooks of graph paper
- Erasers (not a slip-on pencil eraser)
- Small individual pencil sharpeners
- Small tubes of toothpaste
- Notebooks of lined paper/tablets
Feed-A-Friend of Montour County Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer until October 28th!Top Suggestions: Canned items such as vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit – Pasta, Mac & Cheese, Soup, Boxed Stuffing, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please. College Care Ministry – Mid-terms will be here before you know it!! The donation box is in the kitchen foyer until October 28. Missionary Dessert Reception TODAY (10/7) at 6pm with Lucas & Bekah Grudda. Join us to encourage and be encouraged as the Gruddas share their plans to return to Senegal, serving with World Venture! Any and all desserts would be appreciated! Please bring them to the kitchen. Barnabas Sunday During the first Sunday of every month, FBC collects food items for the Danville Food Bank. The collection basket is in the Foyer today. October’s need is for noodles and macaroni.
October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Card boxes have been setup on a table in the main foyer if you would like to bless the pastors & their families with a card. Moms In Prayer International has a chapter here at FBC! The group meets in the conference room on Thursdays at 9:45am. “We believe God changes lives and whole communities forever when moms gather together to pray”. If you are a mom, aunt, grandmother, guardian, woman of prayer, come join us!
Care & Concern Ministry began in October ‘03 and is a group of some of the biggest hearts around. They make and take meals to those who have had babies, surgery, or are going through a tough time. If you have a big heart, here’s one of the ministries where your heart is needed!
