Special Business Meeting Sunday, November 6 9:10am – We’ll be starting the meeting by voting on the new member candidates
recommended by our Board of Deacons. We will also have an update on the sale of the parsonage.
 
October is Pastor Appreciation Month Card Boxes are available in the foyer through today!
 
Heartfelt Thanks! Thank you to all who helped at the Fall Festival Saturday! Please continue to pray for the gospel seeds that were planted and for those searching for a gospel-centered church.
 
Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Turkey Sliders, Cabbage Salad, Applesauce & the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.
 
Home Groups We are currently looking for facilitators and host homes! If you would like info or to sign up, call the office or check out www.danvillefirstbaptist.org/home-groups-faq. Just looking to join a home group? Contact the church office.
 
Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.
 
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meet for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!
 
Men’s Ministry Forum – All men are invited to the gym SATURDAY, November 5 from 9-10:30 am for food, fellowship and worship. Come and learn more about the men’s ministries here at First Baptist. Breakfast is provided! You can sign up at the Welcome Desk, Welcome Table or scan the QR code. Don’t forget to grab a reminder card!
 
Breakfast Sweets Needed Our Sunday morning Coffee Hour team would be grateful for any homemade or store-bought breakfast foods. Please drop off in the kitchen before 9am. Many heartfelt thanks!

Feed-A-Friend of Montour County Collection basket will be in the Main Foyer through Sunday! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit – pasta, mac & cheese, soup, boxed stuffing, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please.
 
FBC is Hosting the Jubilee Kitchen Diane Gelbaugh will be mixing things up in the Jubilee Kitchen on November 19th. Monetary donations would be greatly appreciated to cover the cost of the meal. Please make checks payable to FBC with “Jubilee Kitchen” in the memo. Any excess donations will go to benefit the Youth Scholarship fund.
 
The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in main foyer. November: Tuna & Canned Meats
 
PROJECT UPDATES
  • College Care Ministry: 29 care packages were boxed up and prayed over last Monday and are on their way! Boxes can be picked up in the main lobby.
  • Candy Collection: Many, many thanks for all of the donations! We had a blast filling 1200 bags together!!
