Care & Concern Ministry began in October ‘03 and is a group of some of the biggest hearts around. They make and take meals to those who have had babies, surgery or are going through a tough time. Harvey Cedars Sign Ups have officially started for Harvey Cedars, the most unique and impactful summer camp out there! Heartsong worship, Biblical speakers, unique games and activities, not to mention being right on the bay and the beach! $50 non-refundable deposit is due February 11. The bigger the group, the better a trip like this will be for our group! So we believe everyone should go. We have scholarships for those who need it: money should NEVER be a reason a student doesn’t go.

 

The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in main foyer. February’s Need: Soup

The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in main foyer. January’s Need: Canned Fruit

NYE BASH 2023!! BRINGING IN 2024 WITH A BANG! Grab your warmest coat! Join us Sunday 12/31 at 7PM for food (s’mores & cookies), hot cocoa, fun, music and a short devotional outside. Rain or shine! Then a big fireworks display, weather pending! This is a great opportunity to invite your friends!! Door hangers are available on the table in the main lobby and Welcome Table in the gym.

 

2023 Tax Credit? If you would like to have tax credit for this year, tithes and/or donations must be received or post marked by Dec. 31st. Giving reports will be mailed out in January for tax purposes. If you would like your report emailed to you, contact the office to let us know!

 

Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!

Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Soup & Sandwiches and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Snow Many Good Books! Slide into our Library and wrap yourself up in a good book. There’s a flurry of great titles for all ages! And no cold-shoulder for late returns. The Library is open between services on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.

 

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.

Call for Cookies! We will be delivering gifts and caroling to our shut-ins this Friday and Saturday and giving them each a goody bag of Christmas cookies. If you would like to donate any yummy cookies, please bring them to the kitchen by Thursday, Dec. 14th and note “shut-ins” on them.

 

Christmas Caroling This Saturday!! 2PM – Do you love caroling and spreading joy to others? Then join us as we sing to some of our dear shut ins and nursing home residents. We will meet in the kitchen at 2pm. To sign up, call the office (570) 275-1511.

Looking for Delivery Drivers Wanna rev your engines for a sweet cause?? We are looking for drivers to assist us in dropping off Christmas gifts to our sweet home bound church family.
