BACK TO SCHOOL SOFTBALL GAME SUNDAY, 8/24 after the 10:30 service. Anyone ages 12 and up is invited to play. We will enjoy a quick ballpark lunch before heading out to the ball field to play. All are invited to watch and cheer the teams on. Bring a lawn chair.
Our Baptism Service is Going to the River!! September 7 @ 4pm. If you would like to take the plunge in following Jesus’ example, let us know by Sunday (8/24)! We will be at the boat launch off of Water St. Bring your chair and join us as we celebrate the public statement of changed life! This is weather and river conditions pending.
Men’s Retreat at Camp Orchard Hill is coming up, October 12-14. See table in the lobby for signup information or talk to Pastor John.

Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Linda Beyer.
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church. Come on over!
FBC Connect is Coming!! If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or becoming a member, then this is your class! This is a 3-part class and will take place on Oct. 5, 12 & 19 in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour.

Ladies Bible Studies Begins September 9 (Tuesday mornings | 9am) & 10 (Wednesday evenings | 6pm & ZOOM | 7pm | Sept. 10 (7 Feasts ONLY). The Tuesday study will have two options this year:
- “7 Feasts” by Erin Davis is an 8 week study answering the question, “Should modern-day believers care about the Feast of Trumpets or other such puzzling celebrations in the Bible?”
- “Desperate for Hope” by Vaneetha Risner is a 7-session study that tackles the hard questions and offers a scriptural framework to help you find hope in your pain.

- Devoted Couples Study: We’ll be doing the video series “Vertical Marriage” by Dave & Ann Wilson. Join us as we “explore God’s blueprint for building a healthy marriage through trust, honesty, service, love & God’s Word”. Led by Pastor John & Shelly. Back of the

Kitchen Call! Do you enjoy cooking? How about helping in the kitchen? Or setting up the dining area? Maybe even dishwashing! Wednesday Family Meals will be back in action soon and we could use your help! Contact the church office, if interested!
Special Offering Opportunity This month we will be collecting donations to go towards our FBC-supported missionaries for Christmas gifts. Special envelopes will be available in the pews. Please note “Mission Christmas” on any donations.
