Family Meal Wednesday
Served: 4:45-5:45PM | Suggested Donation is $3/person or $10/family
Sign Up by Monday: Ramp Bulletin Board, in SBS class or call the office
Menu: Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Veggies, Rolls and the desserts you bring. Desserts are on a donation basis; feel free to share a dessert any time.
Special Needs: If you know of a shut-in or elderly person you would like to deliver a meal to, please sign them up and indicate “Shut-In”. Meals for special needs are free of charge.

Fishnet Meeting This Week This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.
 
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!
 
Daylight Saving Time Ends! Don’t forget to set your clocks back. Next Sunday, Nov. 5th is the time change!!
 
Pictures of Veterans Needed FBC would like to honor any veteran who has served. Please send in a picture of your veteran in military dress, if possible, to the church office by November 1st. Please also include their name and which branch of the military they served in. We can also use the pictures from a previous year, but please let the office know! (570) 275-1511.

Feed-A-Friend of Montour County FINAL WEEK! Top Suggestions: Canned items such as vegetables, tuna, cranberry sauce, fruit – Pasta, Mac & Cheese, Soup, Boxed Stuffing, etc. No refrigerated or frozen items, please.
 
Seats & Feet FINAL WEEK This is the last week to get in those new packages of socks and undies for our Danville students!! 
 
FBC is Hosting the Jubilee Kitchen Diane Gelbaugh will be mixing things up, which the youth will pass out at the Jubilee Kitchen Saturday 11/18. Monetary donations would be greatly appreciated to cover the cost of the meal. Please make checks out to FBC with “Jubilee Kitchen” in the memo.
 
The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket is located in the main foyer. November’s Need: Tuna & Canned Meat

  • Trunk or Treat—over 1000 bags were packed with goodies!
  • College Care—34 boxes were prepared and prayed over! Boxes are available for pick-up in the Main Lobby.
 
Conference Opportunity with Mottel Baleston – Tuesday, November 14, 10a-2p – Our church is hosting a conference sponsored by the Venture Church Network featuring Mottel Baleston. He will be speaking on “Understanding the Hebrew Roots of our Christian Faith”. What was the Jewish culture in NT times and how did they worship? How was our Christian faith born with the Biblical Judaism of that day and what have we lost by turning our back on those roots? We are invited to attend this special event as Mottel discusses our Hebrew roots and presents several worship items. Those wishing to attend MUST register online. Lunch is included.

International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians – This day is set aside as a global prayer meeting on behalf of persecuted Christians who stand as a bold witness to Christ on the world’s most dangerous frontiers. We will be observing this day on Sunday, Nov. 12. Prayer guides are available on the desk by the office, Welcome Table in the gym, and back table by sanctuary doors. Pick up your copy today!
