Because next Sunday is Graduation Sunday, Communion will be held on June 14th.  The Fellowship Fund Offering will also be received on June 14th. Pastor Luke will be sharing in both services next Sunday, with the graduates being recognized during the 10:30 service.
 

High School Graduates and their parents are invited to the Graduation Banquet next Sunday, June 7, following the morning services. If you have not yet signed up, please stop by the Information Desk this morning or call the church office.

If you have a college graduate in your family please stop by the Information Desk this morning and fill out an information form so we are able to recognize all of our college graduates.  

Cookies & brownies are needed for the DHS Baccalaureate. Donations may be brought to the church by noon next Sunday, June 7th, or taken directly to the service.
 
Next Sunday is Barnabas Sunday This is an opportunity to help our Area Food Bank. Please place your donations of canned fruit in the basket in the foyer. If making a monetary donation, make checks out to Danville Area Food Bank.
 

Children’s Bulletins are available each Sunday at the back of the Sanctuary. Please pick up a flier by the children’s bulletins this morning that tells how you can use the code given on the bulletin for safe online fun at home.

With Summer officially here, kids may likely be watching more TV. Parents and grandparents can make sure they have quality programs to watch by signing up for “Right Now Media”. Please contact the office if you would like to sign up for this FREE site with hundreds of programs for kids and their families.

If your children have enjoyed Children’s Church recently, new volunteers are needed to keep it going through the months of June and July. If you can help, please visit today or next Sunday to see what happens and talk to Lorna Griffin or Sonya Dudinskie if you need further information.
 

A trip to the GAiN Warehouse is planned for June 16. All are invited to go along. The day will be spent packing food, clothes, school supplies and medicines. The bus will leave the church at 7 AM and return around 8 PM. A sign-up sheet is on the ramp bulletin board. M & M tubes are available at the Information Desk that you can take to fill with quarters to help purchase supplies for this project. Please return all tubes before June 16.

If you did not receive a letter from our Deacons, handed out on May 10,    please pick up a copy at the Information Desk.

 Online registration for FBC’s “Journey Off the Map” VBS is now available at www.danvillefirstbaptist.org. A free VBS music CD will be available to each family who pre-registers. You can also register by stopping by the table in the foyer this morning.

CONGRATULATIONS to all who have finished all 7 units now required for all volunteers working with children & youth. There are still packets available on tables in the foyer and downstairs hallway. This process must be started immediately in order to be processed by the July 1 deadline. Another FBC class (Unit #7) is planned for this Thursday, June 4, at 6:30 PM in the chapel.
 

Please check above the coat racks downstairs for things that may belong to you. All remaining items will be donated by June 10 if not claimed!!

 There has been some interest expressed for the start of a community garden here at First Baptist Church. The intent is to donate the produce to our local food banks and any surplus would be divided among the volunteers. If you are interested, please add your name and contact information to the sign up sheet on the bulletin board or write ‘community garden’ on the bulletin connect card.
