 A Special Business Meeting has been called by the Deacons for Sunday, February 21 immediately after the 10:30AM Worship Service. The Purpose of the meeting is to discuss and potentially change the Sunday Morning Worship Schedule. Midweek Menu this week: Join us for our Midweek Family Meal on Wed. February 17. The menu for this week is Most Scrumptious Ham served with Perfect Potatoes and Crunchy Corn, along with Distinctly Delectable Desserts. Please sign up by Monday, February 15 on the Ramp Bulletin Board, in your SBS class, or by calling the office.   Suggested donation for meals is $3 per person/$10 per family. If you would like to take a meal to a shut-in there is no charge.

Auditions for Praise Band will be held Thursday, February 25th.   Email Pastor John if you are interested at pjohn@danvillefirstbaptist.org.

A Baptismal Service is being planned for Sunday, April 3. If you are interested in being baptized, please speak to one of the pastors.

Another Exploring FBC class is being planned for the first three Sundays in March. This will be held at 9:00 AM in the Conference Room and is for anyone who would like to find out more about our church, baptism, and/or membership. Contact Pastor Dawes if you have questions.

GAiN Warehouse will be packing used clothing for Syrian Refugees on Feb. 16 (9am-2pm) and Tracing/Cutting Luo Pads on Feb. 18 (8:30am-12 noon). If you are interested in helping with these projects, contact the office.

Awana Derby cars are due this Wednesday, Feb. 17, with the Grand Prix being held on February 24th. Please stop by the table in the foyer if you need to weigh your car — today is the last day to weigh cars.
 
Ladies ~ Make sure you save this date ~ Saturday, May 14th. All ladies are invited to our “Springtime in Paris” tea on that day. There will be more information coming at a later date.
 

Yaddah Pearls are starting a new study Monday, February 22, at 9:00 AM in the Church Library. It is “The Easter Experience” which is a video driven DVD 6 week series about the passion and resurrection of Jesus. It brings these events to life and makes the experience personal. All women are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact the office.

~World Day of Prayer and Lenten Programs & Teas for 2016 ~
Church addresses are posted on ramp bulletin board.
Men & Women are invited; Child care is provided. Any cancellations due to inclement weather will be announced over WPGM radio station.
A period of refreshments and fellowship will follow each program.

 Finger foods (small sandwiches, cookies, brownies, bars, breads) are needed on March 2 when our church hosts this event. Please bring your donations to the tea and drop them off in the kitchen. Talk to Diane Gelbaugh for more information.

 
Our church is hosting the Jubilee Kitchen again on March 12. The menu will be Bar-B-Q and mac & cheese. If you would like to help with food preparation, serving, or by making a donation, please talk to Diane Gelbaugh, or contact her at 570-275-4880.
