The media ministry at FBCD has
a saying, "If there is a
service going on at the
church, there is a media tech
involved." Many
ministries of our church
require someone to be clicking
a mouse, pressing a button, or
flipping a switch at just the
right time in order for the
service to run as planned.
These behind the scene
"techies" do everything from
running the sound board,
broadcasting our morning
service on the radio,
displaying sermon outlines
through our projector, or
maintaining the church's
website. As you can
imagine, it takes a lot of
dedicated individuals to make
this ministry work.
Many people feel that they
could not be part of this
ministry because they do not
have "technical knowledge" or
would feel uncomfortable
trying to learn. Our
media ministry has men and
women of all ages (14-65+),
all areas of expertise, and
all experience levels.
