Exploring FBC begins next Sunday If you are interested in finding out more about our church, baptism, and/or membership, plan on attending this 3 week class in the Conference Room at 9:00 AM. Contact Pastor Dawes if you are interested or have questions.

 
Midweek Menu this week: Join us for our Midweek Family Meal on Wednesday, January 13. The menu for this week is Diane’s Best Barbeque, Marvelous Mac & Cheese, Very Good for you Vegetables, and Delicious Desserts. Please sign up by Monday, Jan. 11 on the Ramp Bulletin Board, in your SBS class, or by calling the office. Suggested donation for meals is $3 per person/$10 per family. If you would like to take a meal to a shut-in there is no charge. Desserts are provided on a volunteer basis.
 
A Ladies Bible Study starting this weekThe Yaddah Ladies Study will begin Monday, January 11, at 9 AM in the chapel.

Midweek Ministries are beginning January 13, They include: Jr. High Youth Group, Adult Bible Study, Prayer Group, Fella’ Fellowship, Ladies Bible Study (Pick up your book in the Foyer), “What’s So Amazing About Grace taught by Pastor Dawes (sign up for book at the

ANNUAL MEETING WEDNESDAY ~ JANUARY 27, 20166:30 PM ~ SANCTUARY.All reports to be included in the Annual Report
should be in the office by January 17th. Once a year the church body meets to review the year we have just completed and look ahead to the New Year.  We vote on budgets and members for the boards and committees.  Members are urged to attend.  All others are invited and welcome, but may not vote.
 

Pictures Needed : If you have any pictures of church events that you would like to include in our “Year in Review” highlighting various ministries at FBC, please have them to the office by January 19.

 

Haiti Trip: You will soon be hearing more details about the recent Haiti trip. The next trip is scheduled for April 16-23. If you would like to be a part of this trip, pick up an application at the Information Desk this morning. They are due February 1. Please talk to Gary Lewis, Donna Outt, or Pastor Dawes if you have questions.

 

In the event of inclement weather , please listen to WPGM (96.7 FM) or WGRC (91.3 & 107.7 Bloomsburg) for church service changes. Also, if DASD cancels school, all Mid-week Ministries are canceled as well. All scheduling changes will also be posted on our web-site at www.danvillefirstbaptist.org.
