Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please call Donna Outt.
 
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!
 
Ladies Bible Study Isaiah communicated clearly that followers of God could trust in Him. In 7 weeks of group sessions, unpack Isaiah’s words to reveal that you can trust God more than your own human effort or the counterfeits the world suggests. Annual Business Meeting Saturday, January 27 @ 9AM – YES! There will be breakfast! Join us for sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches, breakfast potatoes and fresh cinnamon buns. Sign up on your connect card or in your Sunday School class and note how many will be attending. The meeting will take place once everyone has gotten their food. We encourage your attendance as there will be important matters of discussion. We will be voting on:

  2. Transferring money from Haiti missions to Short Term missions

Sanctity of Life Sunday School All adult classes will be meeting in the BFLC on Sunday, Jan. 21st at 9:15am as we hear from Linda Harris of Corner of Hope Pregnancy Center, Shamokin. We hope you will join us for this special presentation.

VBS 2024 Dates! July 8-12 | 6-8:30pm & Family Fun Day: July 14th
 
The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in main foyer. January’s Need: Canned Fruit

Gift pick-up will be this Friday, Dec 15 from 9am-4pm in the main foyer. Drivers will be provided with addresses and phone numbers. If interested, call the office at (570) 275-1511.

Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family, but also those who desire to invest in their marriages. If you would like to give, please note “Fellowship Fund” in the memo of your check or on your envelope.
 
Project Christmas Card Goal: Send 500 Christmas cards to area prisoners. All the cards are out!! Please make sure you return them to the basket in the main lobby.
 
Christmas Tree of Love Return unwrapped gifts in a Christmas-style gift bag to the church office by December 10th. Please keep the ornament with the gift so we can get it to the right person. If you are giving a gift card, please attach the receipt and/or the activation slip with the gift card.
 
Memorial Poinsettias Order them in honor or memory of your loved ones If you are interested, please contact the church office at (570) 275-1511. The suggested donation is $8.

We had cards specifically made for this project which are available in the lobby. Info cards will direct you in how best to fill out the card. Take an Info Card and as many cards as you like and return them to the basket in the main lobby by December 10. Our prison ministry team will deliver them to the prisons. 
 
Christmas Tree of Love Christmas is a time of giving! You will find the Tree of Love in the kitchen foyer by the gym entrance. Each ornament represents a person and a gift request or suggestion. As God leads you, please take an ornament from the tree and return it unwrapped in a Christmas-style gift bag to the church office by December 10th. Please keep the ornament with the gift so we can get it to the right person. If you are giving a gift card, please attach the receipt and/or the activation slip with the gift card.
 
Winter Clothing Collection Sunday is the last chance to donate winterwear! Missionary, Marvin Robinson will distribute all sizes of jackets, coats, gloves, mittens, scarves, sweaters, hoodies, pants, etc. to those in Rochester, NY.
 
Memorial Poinsettias Order them in honor or memory of your loved ones The suggested donation is $8. If you are interested, please contact the church office at (570) 275-1511 or sign up through our email newsletter by December 10th.
 
Call for Cookies! We will be delivering gifts and caroling to our shut-ins 12/15 & 16 and giving them each a goody bag of Christmas cookies. If you would like to donate any yummy cookies, please bring them to the kitchen by Thursday, Dec 14th and note “shut-ins” on them.
 
Looking for Delivery Drivers Wanna rev your engines for a sweet cause?? We are looking for drivers to assist us in dropping off Christmas gifts to our sweet home bound church family. Gift pick-up will be Friday, Dec 15 from 9am-4pm in the main foyer. Drivers will be provided with addresses and phone numbers. If interested, call the office at (570) 275-1511. 
 
Christmas Caroling SATURDAY, 12/16 @ 2 PM Do you love caroling and spreading joy to others? Then join us as we hand out gifts and & sing to some of our dear shut ins and nursing home residents. To sign up, call the office (570) 275-1511.
 
The Barnabas Basket is a monthly food collection that takes place on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). All donations are given to the Danville Food Bank. The basket will be located in main foyer. December’s Need: Soup

Thanksgiving Eve Service THIS WEDNESDAY AT 7PM – This service celebrates and gives thanks to God for all He has done for us throughout the year. There will be a time of worship, prayer, thanksgiving & devotion. You are welcome to bring visiting family & friends, as well! We hope to see you there.
 
Special Offering Special Thanksgiving envelopes are available by the offering boxes. Donations will go towards Christmas gifts for our FBC supported missionaries! Please note “Thanksgiving” on your donation.

Project Christmas Card Goal: Send 500 Christmas cards to prisoners in the Columbia, Montour, Northumberland and NCSTU Prisons.
We had cards specifically made for this project which are available in the lobby. Info cards will direct you in how best to fill out the card. Take an Info Card and as many cards as you like and return them to the baskets in the main lobby by December 10. Our prison ministry team will deliver them to the prisons.

Conference Opportunity with Mottel Baleston – Tuesday, November 14, 10a-2p – Our church is hosting a conference sponsored by the Venture Church Network featuring Mottel Baleston. He will be speaking on “Understanding the Hebrew Roots of our Christian Faith”. What was the Jewish culture in NT times and how did they worship? How was our Christian faith born with the Biblical Judaism of that day and what have we lost by turning our back on those roots? Those wishing to attend MUST register online. Lunch is included.
