Scholarship Funds Available The Mission Board will be accepting applications for post-high school education from applicants planning to attend post-graduate training at an academic facility with the intent to pursue ministry or missionary work upon graduation. Here’s your invitation to join the Easter Choir! Love to sing??? We would love to have you in the choir. Practices are Mondays from 7:15pm-8:30. Our only requirements are that you love the Lord, attend rehearsals and can match pitch!
 
Special Easter Offering This year, our special Easter offering will be split between Youth Scholarships and Missions Please note “Easter Offering” on your donations. Easter giving envelopes can be found in the pews.
 
Good Friday You are invited to join us, Friday, March 29 at 7pm as we celebrate the work that Jesus Christ accomplished for us on the cross and why we can truly call it a “good Friday”.
 
Delivery Drivers Needed We are looking for drivers to assist us in dropping off Easter gifts to our sweet home-bound church family members!! Gift pick-up will be Friday (3/29) from 9am-3pm in the main foyer. Drivers will be provided with addresses and phone numbers. Want to rev your engines for a sweet cause? Fellowship Fund Giving Opportunity In following the biblical directive to take care of our widows and orphans, FBC created the fellowship fund. This fund not only blesses those financially hurting in our church family, but also those who desire to invest in their marriages. Ladies Exercise Group It’s 6:30pm every other Thursday beginning this week! They will be walking outdoors around the block, unless there is bad weather. This group is for ladies of all ages and walking abilities. The leaders will match your speed. No one is left in the dust.

  2. Projector Tech: If you love worship music and can navigate a computer, we could use a talented computer tech to run our lyrics for worship services.
  3. Video Tech: If you have an eye for live broadcasting and enjoy multitasking, you will be controlling multiple cameras via one master computer.

Contact the church office. Any tools/materials you want to bring would be appreciated, but are not necessary. We are looking for carpenters to help out parents/guardians at each of the following work stations at the workshop:

  • Sanding
  • Painting
  • Wheels n Axles
  • Weigh Station

Care & Concern Ministry began in October ‘03 and is a group of some of the biggest hearts around. They make and take meals to those who have had babies, surgery or are going through a tough time. This ministry has lifted the hearts of many as the love of Christ is shared in a practical & much needed way. Contact the church office if you would like to be on our call list.

Harvey Cedars Sign Ups have officially started for Harvey Cedars, the most unique and impactful summer camp out there! Heartsong worship, Biblical speakers, unique games and activities, not to mention being right on the bay and the beach! $50 non-refundable deposit is due February 11. The bigger the group, the better a trip like this will be for our group! So we believe everyone should go. We have scholarships for those who need it: money should NEVER be a reason a student doesn’t go.

Sanctity of Life Sunday All adult classes will be meeting in the gym as we hear from Linda Harris of the Corner of Hope Pregnancy Care Center, Shamokin. Please join us for this special presentation.

FBC Connect is Coming! If you are new here and would like to know what we are all about or if you have questions on being baptized or
becoming a member, then this is your class! This is a 3-part class and will take place on Feb. 18, 25 & Mar. 3 in the Conference Room (across from the church office) during the Sunday School hour.
 
Fishnet This group of amazing ladies meets on Thursdays from 9AM-12 noon at the home of Linda Beyer. They process large quantities of eyeglasses and sunglasses to be sent all over the world! If you would like to join them, please contact Donna Outt.
 
Active Retired Men in Service Thursdays @ 8:30AM. This great group of guys meets for devotions, prayer time and lots of fellowship! Following their group time, they also help out around the church as well. Come on over!
 
Annual Business Meeting This Saturday @ 9AM. YES! There will be breakfast! Join us for sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches, breakfast potatoes and fresh cinnamon buns. Sign up TODAY on your connect card or in your Sunday School class and note how many will be attending. The meeting will take place once everyone has gotten their food. We encourage your attendance as there will be important matters of discussion. Please pick up your copy of the proposed Constitution revisions & the Annual Report in the Main Lobby and on the Welcome Table in the gym. We will be voting on:
  • newly nominated Board & Committee members
  • transferring money from Haiti missions to Short Term missions
  • proposed budgets for 2024
  • proposed revisions to the Constitution re: business meetings
 
Project: Surprise Valentine! Grab an envelope at the Welcome Desk and/or Welcome Table for a homebound individual or couple to love on for Valentine’s Day! Send them notes, cards, homemade drawings, or any special idea you come up with. 
 
Bells of Joy are Back! Handbell choir is starting up again for the spring. Now is a great time to check it out! Rehearsals are Mondays from 6-7:15pm in the Bell Room. Note: you need to be able to read music.

  • Video Tech: If you have an eye for live broadcasting and enjoy multitasking, you will be controlling multiple cameras via one master computer.
