Awana is an international, nondenominational, nonprofit, Bible-centered youth organization providing clubs and programs for 3 year-olds to 6th grade. The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of the phrase,
“Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15).
Each week, more than 2 million children and youth, 330,000 volunteers and 260 field staff take part in Awana in 30,000 churches around the world. Offered through local churches, Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey.

Awana Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son, and His Word. Preschoolers can hardly wait for their next Cubbies club meeting. Whether it’s the fun crafts, the exciting games, or all their Cubbies friends, they simply love it. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce Story Time lesson themes.
Ages: Kindergarten – 2nd grade
Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. To many children in kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of the week! They love their uniforms, the exciting games, and spending time with leaders and friends. Sparks is divided into three years, each with a unique rank: HangGlider®, WingRunner®, and SkyStormer™. The handbooks, combined with Counsel Time, take your child on an incredible journey through the entire Bible!
Ages: 3rd grade to 4th grade
T&T Ultimate Adventure™ engages third and fourth graders by answering there questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal live stage to grow in Christ’s grace. Handbooks and Counsel Time sessions deepen a child’s knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life. Their handbooks cover critical questions like:
- Who is God?
- Why did God give us the Bible?
- How does God want me to live my life?
- Why should I go to church?
T&T Ultimate Adventure™ will assist your child as they move into the preteen years and continue growing in there relationship with Christ.

T&T Ultimate Challenge™ engages fifth and sixth graders by answering there questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal live stage to grow in Christ’s grace.
