First Baptist takes many precautions to be a Child Safe Church.
  • Teachers are required to be members.
  • They must have been active in the church for at least one year.
  • All adults working with children must have attended the church for a certain period of time and are required to have state Background Checks.
  • Two adults must be present in each classroom.

Our Nursery provides a safe and loving environment for our little ones. The Infant Nursery staff usually includes a registered nurse during the Sunday Bible School hour. We have a digital paging system for parents to be notified of any problems during the Worship Services.
