Today is Barnabas Sunday, our chance to help the local food bank. The need is for canned vegetables. Donations can be placed in the basket in the foyer.

If you are interested in extra FBC cookbooks, there are some available on a first come, first served basis. The cost is $3. Please see Lynn W. to get your copy.

M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers) begins gathering Monday Sept. 8^th at 9 AM. Can YOU give us one morning a month to play with little people? Contact Mary K. for more information. We still have a need for MOPPETS workers.

ATTENTION ALL LADIES: Friendship Circle meets Tuesday, September 9 at 7 PM in room #7 (off BFLC). Our program will be “Memory Time”. Everyone is encouraged to bring & share things you cherish. All are welcome for a time of fellowship, fun & food.

FaithWalkers: Our first meeting for the Fall will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 7 PM in the library. This group for parents of prodigals is open to anyone. Questions, call the office at 275-1511.

Attn: All church clean-up day will be on Saturday, September 13th at 8 AM. Sign up sheets are on bulletin boards in the foyer and on the ramp. Lunch will be provided.

“Exploring FBC”, a class for those interested in finding out more about our church, baptism and/or membership will begin next Sunday during the SBS hour. Contact Pastor Dave for more details.

For Your Information: WBRE will be airing the Billy Graham Evangelistic Assoc. Sept. Special “Celebrating the Life of Ruth Graham Bell”, Sat. Sept. 13 at 8 PM.

Ken Davis is coming to FBC ~ Live & In Person! Tickets are limited! Please stop at the information desk to inquire. We need YOUR help to make this a very special evening! See the sign-up sheets on the foyer & ramp bulletin boards to find out where you can serve the Lord with your ability and availability. Everyone can do something! Those who would like to be a counselor should plan to attend the training being given September 9 & 11 from 7-9 PM in the Springer Chapel. If you have been through counselor training in the past and would like to help in this area, please see one of the Pastors. Contact the office with any questions.

Ladies… the weekend for our Breakaway is quickly approaching! The camp is getting ready for us and the Lord will be painting His world all different colors by October 10th. Be in prayer about how God will challenge you to become a woman of righteous confidence. Your money ($130) is due to Lynn by Sept. 21st but if you’d like to come and money is an issue, talk to Lynn. We will also need some extra drivers so if you are willing to drive let Lynn know. We plan on leaving by 5 PM on the 10th and will stop for a quick dinner on the way. The rest of the meals are included.
